Chiropractic Care

Elevate Women’s Health Centre serves the unique needs of women and children – the only facility of its kind in our area. With more than 20 years of clinical experience and as a mom herself, Dr. Dingman is the perfect person to help you restore your health.

What Chiropractic Helps

As a chiropractor, Dr. Dingman examines your spine and nervous system to make sure your brain can communicate clearly with your body. As a result, your body can do what it was designed to, working at its highest potential.

So, what stops you from living your fullest life?

It may be that your spine has lost its normal alignment in a few key places. This can create pain and inflammation, but more importantly it can cause your body to stop functioning at its best. Chiropractic adjustments help to normalize spinal movement and alignment so you can feel more like yourself again.

Whether you’re a newborn baby, a 100-year-old great grandma, or anyone in between, Dr. Dingman’s approach will be just right for your body. Since no single technique is right for everybody, Dr. Dingman is skilled in many chiropractic techniques to suit your unique needs. These include the following:

  • Activator®
  • ART®
  • Cranial Adjusting Turner Style
  • Diversified

  • Craniosacral
  • Gonstead
  • Toggle
  • Webster

We’ll make sure to consider your preferences so you have a comfortable, effective chiropractic experience.

What are the benefits of care?

The most common benefit associated with chiropractic care is reduction of musculoskeletal pain and increased range of motion. Most important, however, is that your body may function at a higher level. And that means the benefits of chiropractic care can be almost limitless. See our reviews to find out how others have been helped by chiropractic care at Elevate Women’s Health Centre.
What if I'm nervous about being adjusted?

We completely understand that something new and unfamiliar can make some nervous. Dr. Dingman will explain the adjustment to you and make sure you’re comfortable before anything happens. Remember, people bring their newborn babies for chiropractic adjustments because our touch is gentle and very effective.
If I see a chiropractor, will I have to go for the rest of my life?

No. Your care is always up to you. Typically though, once people start getting adjusted, they feel better. Most people opt to continue with periodic adjustments in order to maintain great health.
Does it hurt to get adjusted?

If you have an area that is sore or not moving, the adjustment can involve some discomfort. Know that our techniques will be gentle on you. Mostly, people feel relief after their adjustment.
Do I need a physician's referral?

Since chiropractors are primary care physicians, no referral is needed. You may want to check with your insurance company to see if they require one.
Do you work with other doctors?

Yes. Dr. Dingman believes that healthcare is a collaboration. She can speak with your MD, massage therapist, naturopath, acupuncturist or any other healthcare professional to communicate about your care.
Will you suggest exercises I can do?

Yes. The care at our office is augmented by specific spinal exercises and other general health tips that Dr. Dingman will give you. She wants to be sure that you are equipped with as many tools in your life that will better help you.
Can someone who has had back surgery see a chiropractor?

Yes. The care you receive at our office will take your past medical procedures into account.
